Looking for help in identifying a military pin WWII vintage?
Bought a box lot from an estate of a gentleman who served in the U.S. Army 1943 – 1949
One pin is hard to identify.
It is made by N.S. Meyer Inc New York, NY Their logo on back dates it to the 1940’s
8 sided sterling silver pin is red enamel with a cannon (artillery piece) on the left and a lamp of knowledge (like a genie lamp) on the right
beneath cannon & lamp is a up & down stripe (inverted letter v or ^) that is black and white.
Can not seem to identify what the pin represents.
