Do people post their photos on here in a vain attempt to get some sex type action?

I’ve seen a lot of self-photos on this site and they’re almost always the kind of face that you’d slap if it came into view.
Am I just being cynical in thinking that these folks are secretly hoping for someone to email them saying “my god you’re gorgeous, please meet me for some multi-positional lovin!”
eg.
Man with greasy chip hair,
naked man with duck,
(very!) large woman in field,
man? in drag,
beefcake who needs to lay off the steroids, etc. etc.
Is it just a vain attempt to get laid?

Yeah, probably. I mean, I’d definitely do the naked man with a duck, lol. Also, it’s probably not in vain – I bet it works more often than you’d think.
