1st Note:If displayed;I like to maintain a flexible strategy in the pricing of my works; put simply the prices you may observe(if any) alongside the item may become open to negotiation upon certain circumstances or other criteria.Also,the prices of my original oil paintings are derived from certain facts such as a) Many of my paintings have sold for the same prices you observe set upon the current ones in my collection and b) The prices are put down considering current 'local' trends; ie, the type of prices my work SELLS for and have sold for in my local region. If my oil work is to show in other locations the prices currently observed may very well differ.

Private sales: ie, locally from my personal hand to another is negotiated upon sensitively and confidentially. In all cases I do business honestly and quickly, just as I would expect business done to me.

Sales online from my website will be set up for a simple and secure way to purchase my work; via the methods listed above; if and when I choose to display them,  Orders are picked up as they come in. Once funds are cleared on particular item(s)Chaldecott's gallery (represented Mr.M.Chaldecott) prepares to dispatch works out within the week of clearance with a reputable dispatch company fully insured for the amount that the work(s)are sold at, first class and recorded as well as well packaged.

I maintain constant liaison with client throughout the transaction. Or any commission or any business concerning a piece of my art.

GUARANTEE

 To the customer I guarantee my original oil paintings to last at least my lifetime. I wouldn't be painting them otherwise. As far as the oil pigments go and their permanency: my paintings do not crack or fade and some of my works are testimony to this fact. Natural time weathering is another matter; if my paintings are hung above/ and or in soot particled atmospheres natural time weathering will occur regardless of professional application in the pigments. I also know how to restore my oil paintings to their natural states.

2nd Note: Pricing: 

 

Prices on my website(if displayed) will reflect the prices of my home catalogue generally. Sometimes I make adjustments. If a piece or pieces go out for exhibition I will adjust the price according to location of the showcase; and NFS will be stated on my website. Privately, if I sell a piece then my website will show either 'SOLD' or 'Under negotiation'. If I choose to 'retain' my collection, I would raise the prices to the top bracket. The reason for this is that although I do not wish to sell any paintings for the time being, in business, I would consider myself a fool if an offer came in at the right price! Such instances of inflating the prices of my work is rare. I usually do a 6 month to annual price adjustment.

Moreover, I pride myself on giving equal opportunities to all people.Since my Art is for the people to enjoy as well as myself anyway.

b) Bodyart Gallery (or Mac's tattoos) is a subdivision of Chaldecott's Gallery; whereby one handles 2d fine art; mainly oil paintings, the other handling 2d art wrapped around three dimensional body space, one medium using brushes the other needles.

c) Clientele is strictly very close family and friends whilst I am learning and studying this diversified field. These are the people that know my work anyway enough to trust me in this fact of the matter high risk field. H&S is adhered to strictly, with utensils autoclaved.

d) Sales is not an issue above and beyond the importance of health and safety. But I can't help my self from observing people as walking canvases; including myself at the moment in my study.

e) I don't need loads of flash design material as I take straight from the clients own ideas of what they want tattooed and draw the designs up personally.

f) Certification? yes.
